Muslims in Malaysia are celebrating Eid-el Adha tomorrow. Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha to all Muslim friends!!!.
I thought of posting gold & glitter inspiration this week [not necessarily related to the festivity] for some cheer. Enjoy the long weekend!.

That's interesting, I am afraid I don't know much about the festivity!
ReplyDeleteAt the end of the Hajj season in Mecca, all Muslims celebrate Eid-el-Adha. It is celebrated in remembrance of the trials and triumph of Prophet Abraham :). There is another eid that we celebrated about two months before, which is at the end of the fasting month, Ramadhan. This celebration is called Eid-el Fitri. Hope this helps :). Have a great weekend! Hugs.
DeleteThanks Shahrul! I was in Turkey at the end of Ramadan last year, and yes.. I actually came across the three day festivity at the end of the fast!
DeleteHugs to you too.
