Sketchbooks are the place to spill ideas. Doodle. Color swabs. Make mistakes. Learn from them :). Practice. Patience. Capture moments. Inspirational things. And hopes. I'm hoping this may inspire some to pick up that brush :).
Hugs.
WOW WOW WOW, these are GORGEOUS!! I love the soft look of them all, great job on these!! How fun that you decided to sketch this time, nice that they all fit on the same page. I think you did a wonderful job, the colors are all bleneded together perfectly. My favorite which is very hard to pick is the GIRL, how sweet is that hat!!
ReplyDeleteDid you sketch in pencil first? These are just watercolors right? YOU MUST DO THIS AGAIN!!!
Peeked at your previous post and enjoyed looking at all your sights where you live. How cool to have all those painted buildings and new and old mixed together. I love all the windows too, those are my favorite and so are doors. Thanks for letting us walk thru your town with us. I will do this soon on my blog too, all the fall colors to show!!
Thank you for the comment on my PL, a great memory for me this week.
Hi, Dawn!. Yup, I did the sketches in pencil first, very lightly. Then added the colors (I'm using Daler-Rowney georgian pan watercolor set). I missed watercolor so much, I did a lot of paintings before than I took a break :). Yes, please do share with us. I LOVE your earlier garden post, can't wait till the color changes!. Thanks so much for your kind words :).
